English crisis: Adamawa, the new target of activists

Activists from neighboring Nigeria are preparing sabotage on the railroad

The military authorities of the region of Adamaoua have since last week, the region under surveillance to protect the area against possible terrorist attacks. 

According to information collected from police sources in Adamaoua, "a hundred members of the English-speaking separatist movement" residing in the city of Calabar in Nigeria are planning to enter Cameroon through the Adamawa region. . According to this information, this armed gang that will arrive on board buses, plans among other things to sabotage the railway between Ngaoundere and Yaounde.

These activists would also consider "entering passenger trains with explosive devices to commit terrorist acts". 

Therefore, the security forces are called to increase vigilance, carry out systematic checks of public transport vehicles, search and arrest all suspicious persons in Adamaoua and especially in localities that share borders with this country neighbour.
