Africa’s leading entertainment company, Multichoice, the organizers of Big Brother Naija Reality show, have released some stringent rules for the 2019 BBNaija which includes threat to report social media accounts that live streams the reality show.
The threat by Multichoice to report social media accounts that live streams 2019 BBNaija and also ensuring that the account is deleted, applies to bloggers, individuals and digital media platforms.
The rules also include prohibition of watermarked videos, crediting their platform as a source. It was further learnt that the new rule is aimed at getting people to watch the reality show on DSTV of GoTV.

This is coming after Multichoice Nigeria, organisers of the annual Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, reality television show, disclosed that the winner of its new season will get a total prize worth of N60million.
It disclosed that the winner of the season 4 reality show will get N30m cash prize and a total prize worth N60million. Multichoice made the disclosure in a statement by its Chief Executive Officer, John Ugbe on Sunday.
According to Ugbe: “Each edition of Big Brother Naija significantly improves on all aspects of the previous season and this year is no different.
“The winner of season four will walk away from the house with a N30m cash prize and a top of the range SUV amongst many other exciting prizes. The Big Brother Naija winner will also emerge as the most popular and marketable personality on the continent, as the show is known to launch prominent careers in arts, entertainment and other supporting industries.”
