According to statistics from airlineratings.com as published by 1843magazine, a bi-monthly cultural magazine published by the Economist Group, Cameroon Airline Corporation trails 4 other international airlines to claim 5 spot among the most dangerous international airlines. Following the rankings, Nepal air is on position number 1 and closely followed by Batik air based in Indonesia.

Mean while Australia’s Qantas top the list of World's safest airlines for 2017 for the fourth year. Making up the remainder of the top twenty in alphabetical order are:

Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, All Nippon Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways,  Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, EVA Air, Finnair, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airline System, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia.
