The self-proclaimed president of the Ambazonie

Ayuk Julius Tabe, the leader of the Southern Cameroon National Council (Scnc), a movement classified as terrorist by Yaoundé, is suspected of a diversion estimated at 250,000 million FCFA (more than 380 thousand euros) weekly newspaper published in Yaoundé and whose information is generally credible. 

The misappropriation of public funds attributed to Ayuk Julius Tabe took place while he was a manager in Aes-Sonel, an electricity company, specifically in the sales and marketing department. 

The former executive of the electricity company, was dismissed in 2006, for "heavy misconduct".

It is after this "smoking blow" that the separatist leader settled in Nigeria, before returning to the United States, reads the newspaper.

This revelation intervenes in the context of an anglophone crisis marked by the calls for secession launched by Ayuk Tabe Julius and a minority of radical activists. 

From the United States, where he settled with his entire family, including children who lead a quiet life and go to school, Ayuk Julius Tabe, calls for hatred, civil disobedience, and partition of Cameroon. 

According to the government, Ayuk Tabe Julius and radical activists in the United States, finance their supporters who carry out acts of violence against the populations who refuse to follow their slogan.
