Seven Cameroonian singers nominated for Afrimma 2017

They will represent Cameroon at the 4th edition of the Afrimma Awards and Music Festival which will take place on October 8, 2017 in Dallas, USA. 

Cameroon will again be represented at the African Music Magazine Awards (Afrimma 2017) scheduled for October 8th. Mani Bella, Mr. Leo and Shammack make the seven artists who will wear the local colors in Dallas. On their side, Stanley Enow, Reniss and Brenda Derry return for a second participation after their appointment to the Afrimma 2016. They were invited alongside Franko, Charlotte Dipanda, Dj Labastille, Locko and Mysta Adrenaline. 

Daphne also returned in competition this year in the category Best female artist of Central Africa. She won the award in the previous edition. 

The fourth edition of the Afrimma Awards is also marked by the appointment of African artists such as the Congolese Rally Fally Ipupa (Video of the Year) with its title "Eloko iyo"; The Nigerian Davido (song of the year) for his title "If" as well as the Congolese Maitre Gims (best French-speaking artist).

- Best male artist Central Africa: Stanley Enow - Magasco

- Best Female Artist of Central Africa: Reniss -Mani bella- Daphne 

- Revelation: Mr Léo 

- Best Director: Shammack 

- Best African Dancer: Brenda Derry 

- Best French Artist: Daphne
