Raheem Sterling Loses PFA Award to a Defender

Liverpool defender and world record signing for a defender, Virgil Van Dijk has beat Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling to become PFA Player Of The Year 2019. Virgil's win makes Liverpool the club with players to have won the prize consecutively after Salah won it in 2018.

The announcement has not been officially made but polls indicate that the Liverpool centre half has beat Raheem to the prize. Virgil has been a major part of the Premier League's best defence in 2019.
