A Cameroonian artist to design the animated series "Mama K's Team 4" soon on Netflix

The animated series of African origin "Mama K's Team 4" soon to be broadcast on Netflix bears the signature of a Cameroonian artist.

When great heroes of African descent land on Netflix. Since the American giant, who has been offering streaming movies and TV series on the internet, has decided to add to its list of contents, the animated series "Mama K's Team 4", many voices have risen to express their joy. We can understand their reaction already because, it is the first animated series of the genre to appear in the projects of the mastodon of video on demand, and necessarily it is not the last one.

The information has not yet echoed the country of Queen Dibussi , Claye Edouand the others. And this is not surprising because, very few people know that this project has benefited from the participation of a Cameroonian illustrator. The talented artist who has earned a reputation in the world of animation, is at the origin of the creation of the characters, and the decor in general found in the animated film. His name is Malcom Wope. And yes !

The series takes place in a futuristic universe with four super heroes who must save the world. They are recruited by a former secret service agent. Only these are in Africa and not in the United States or elsewhere as usual. The series was created by Zambian writer Malenga Mulendema and produced by Triggerfish Animation Studios and the British children's entertainment company CAKE.

In South Africa where he is established, specifically in Cape Town, Malcom Wope is one of the references in the field of animation. Freelance illustrator, he stands out for his way of working. He draws inspiration from other forms of art and visual communication. This diversity, which is felt in his particular style, makes him an atypical artist. Influenced by comics from Europe and Japan, Malcom Wope also wants to inspire many young people through his works.
