(Urgent) The Convoy Of the Prefect of lebialam Was Attacked, Two killed

Two Gendarmes were killed in this attack.

Three gendarmes have been killed in Njinikom in the Boyo as well as the Departmental Delegate of the Ministry of Domains, Cadastre and Land Affairs (Mindcaf) following the attack of the convoy of the prefect of the department of Lebi-Alem by armed secessionists . 

The Prefect is currently in critical condition following the attack. 

It must be remembered that hostilities have started in the region since last weekend with the abduction of some 30 people, including Professor Leke Tambo.

The academic was released Monday, after 48 hours of detention. He was abducted by armed men on Saturday as he was traveling to his village in Lebialem (southwestern region) with about 30 people. 

The circumstances of the release of the academic are not known. The separatists of Ambazonia who sporadically raged in certain localities of this region were pointed out.
