Prime Minister Yang Demands that Atanga Nji settles the Anglophone Crisis

Prime Minister Yang demands that Atanga Nji settle the Anglophone crisis

Philemon Yang, the Cameroonian Prime Minister

The Head of Government proceeded yesterday Monday, March 5, 2018 to the installation, new incoming members as well as those who change portfolios. Installation ceremonies placed under the triptych: close collaboration, dedication and unfailing loyalty.

Among the thirteen incoming ministers, there is one woman, Pauline Egbe Nalova Lyonga, Minister of Secondary Education. In analysis, we note that the Anglophone crisis was certainly taken into account in the reorganization of the Yang IV government of March 2, 2018. Seen under this prism, the English-speaking regions seize for the first time in Cameroon, ministries of such as the Territorial Administration now headed by Paul Atanga Nji and the Secondary Teaching by the former Vice Chancellor (Rector) of the University of Buea.

The first has the full mission to ensure security throughout the country, to eradicate or reduce at its simplest the threat of Islamist Boko Haram, work to convince English-speaking secessionists of the uniqueness of Cameroon, ensure that the general elections are held in security throughout the national territory. English-speaking activists who were offended, to be honest, that anglophones have never held a single ministry of sovereignty are being served. First test run for the Permanent Secretary of the National Security Council, the senatorial elections of March 25 current. Just like the settlement of the Anglophone crisis.

Inertia and procrastination By installing Mrs. Pauline Egbe Nalova Lyonga, on her patroness chair of secondary education in Cameroon, the act of the Prime Minister must certainly speak to the heart of all anglophones first and then all Cameroonians. It remains now to see how the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Buea will proceed to translate into concrete acts the presidential intentions.

From this waltz of installations, which took place in a sober ritual and at no pace, it shows all the determination of Philemon Yang to infuse the new team with a spirit of prompt execution in the missions assigned to it . In doing so, the inertia and procrastination that characterizes our administration, should therefore be a sad memory because dedication is one of the key words prescribed by the head of government to boost government action.

Bad Players

Moreover, wherever he went, the master of the ceremony also prescribed in his speeches of circumstance, "the close collaboration" between the ministers and his collaborators on the one hand and with the other ministers on the other hand . Philemon Yang's invitation is not artificial. It is that between the attributions of certain ministries, there are corridors of interdependence. These places, instead of being points of friction, must instead be, in the sense of the patron of the ministers, bridges of collaboration and interdependence.

The attribution crisis professionals in the ministerial departments should therefore review their modes of execution of the tasks that fall to them. The flawless loyalty prescribed by the Prime Minister puts back on the agenda the difficulty and all the penalties of having in a government team ministers "bad players" who do not respect the administrative hierarchy. There are ministers who, by virtue of their entry into the presidency of the Republic, have the annoying habit of wanting to go directly back to the Prince. We remember this former minister collaborating with an ex-PM who serves the unruly "Bad boy" collaborator.

This is to say, all the need for the whole team to dance or play symphonically.
