Donald Trump Claims Santa Claus Is In Cameroon (Video)

When Donald Trump claims that Santa Claus is in Cameroon [Video]

US president's statement sparked a wave of criticism

Donald Trump took part, on December 25, 2017, in the traditional "NORAD tracks Santa" (the Norad in search of Santa Claus). It is a program organized by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad). The concept is for the American president and his wife, to receive calls from children from all over America, and to tell them the path of Santa Claus, while wishing them happy holidays.

While on the phone with a certain Casper, from the state of Virginia, Donald Trump asked his interlocutor if he knew the exact position of Santa Claus. And while the young Casper suggested Arizona, Trump looked at a document and said, "You're not far. The father is christmas is in Cameroon. Do you know where Cameroon is?

This joke of the American president was recovered by his detractors, who put his notions of geography into question. In fact, nearly 13,000 km separate Cameroon and Arizona (Western United States). Yet, following his reply above, the US president told Casper: "Cameroon is very, very far away. But Santa Claus is moving fast, and he can be with you in Virginia in a short time. " An indication that suggests that this allusion to Cameroon was just a joke. What amusing Cameroonian Internet users.
