The Biafra Group expresses concern over the situation in the North West and South West regions and confirms that it has led incursions into Cameroon against our forces.

The Youth League of Nations of Biafra (BNYL), affirms that it rallied to the separatists of Southern Cameroons seen the recent acts of violence registered the district of Eyoumojock, region of South-West whose populations of the locality speak the same language (Ejagham) as those of Cross River State in Nigeria. The information is contained in an article published on December 4, 2017 in the Nigerian newspaper, New Telegraph.

Ebuta Agbor Takon, deputy chief and chief operating officer of Biafra Broadcasting Service (BBS), said the group was concerned about the situation in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon and thus revealed its intention to extend coverage of the BBS to the English speaking region, informs the newspaper. He pointed out that Ebuta Agbor Takon recalled that he has reached an agreement with the Governing Council of Ambazonia over the past year, "in the common interest".

He says that recently an armed group attacked Eyoumojock, killing 8 Cameroonian militiamen, "I think that the attitude of the Cameroonian government towards the people motivated militia actions," Ebuta Agbor Takon said in the newspaper.

Ebuta Agbor Takon indicates that the closure of the border by the Cameroonian authorities has greatly affected the populations of the Southwest and those of the State of Cross River. "He was alarmed by the many casualties suffered by the people during the military operations that closed the Ekok border a few kilometers from Ikom" in Nigeria.

"The BNYL has stated that the group and the Governing Council of Ambazonia are building an alliance for the benefit of Biafra and Southern Cameroons and for better results."

According to the newspaper, Agbor said the BNYL had called for dialogue between a new interim government of Ambazonia formed on 1 October 2017 in Mamfe and other separatist groups "to avoid disappointment." Moreover, the group said that the Cameroonian government holds more than fifty of its supporters and allies.

"Among them are Geo Tang and Eric Ngu who were both arrested with hundreds of others in Bamenda in connection with the riot. We also call on Cameroon to release leader Applaud Prince, who led a team of secessionists in Uyo, Nigeria, on February 20, 2016, where we had a fruitful discussion and found a solution. "

Takon said the BNYL made incursions into troubled areas (Northwest and Southwest). "As an Ejagham, my group and I can not abandon the extended family of Ejagham in Cameroon," said the Nigerian separatist.
