English crisis: 08 new soldiers assassinated in Manyu

08 other Cameroonian soldiers were killed on Monday, December 04, 2017 in two separate ambushes in the district of Eyumojock (Manyu) including 04 elements of the BIR, military source.

The two deadly ambushes were claimed by a particularly violent separatist group called 'Tigers' ('Tigers') which had already manifested itself in the Mamfe fires. In both cases, soldiers' weapons and ammunition were swept away by the attackers. According to reports, the separatists exploited the recent contradictory dual message from the Manyu Prefect, Mr. Joseph Oum II, who allegedly unveiled the offensive strategy of the security forces.
