Anglophone crisis: Muslims threaten to take up arms
They openly invite Paul Biya to postpone any further use of violence
In a statement signed last Saturday, Muscuda-Cameroon President Baba Rudoh Yusufa openly invites head of state Paul Biya to postpone any further use of violence and to initiate talks.
Gathered in Bamenda on October 7, Muslims from the northwest and south-western regions implicitly threatened to join the resistance.
In line with the statement issued by the English-speaking bishops, the association accuses the Yaounde regime of having carried out numerous assassinations in recent weeks against civilians with their bare hands. "Biya soldiers kill our brothers like chickens" or "All the imams are angry with Mr. Biya for ordering the killing of civilians."
Therefore, the signatory of this release almost summons the military and the police to stop within 72 hours, their acts of aggression.
