Bar owners now have a 'Barman's Guide'
The document highlights the laws and regulations that govern the sector
Produced by the National Coordinator of the National Syndicate of Drinking Water Operators of Cameroon (SYNEDEBOC), Valérie NTENDJE, the document entitled "The Barman's Guide" is a condensed version of statutory texts specifically addressed to drinking-house holders. It was drafted with the collaboration of Thomas Joseph BODIONG, a lawyer with the bars of Cameroon.
Among the texts contained in the document are the decree n ° 90/1483 of 9 November laying down the terms and conditions for the operation of drinking places in Cameroon, Law No 2009/019 of 15 December 2009 on taxation Local law and all information relevant to the sector relating to the law n ° 2015/018 of 21 December 2015 governing commercial activity. The general tax code and the classification of activities subject to the tax withholding are not in rest.

"The Barman's Guide", which will soon be officially presented to the public, is positioning itself as a benchmark in the sector for both the main actors, namely the drinking-house holders and the judicial and administrative authorities in the exercise Of their regal functions.
