TOP MOST FOLLOWED CAMEROONIAN ARTISTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Today musicians are using social media to connect with fans, share their musical contents, brand themselves, build anticipation, and generate revenue in new and unique ways. — There is need for a connection that empowers both (artists and Fans) to give each other what they are looking for.
Artists should be reaching their new fan bases online through social channels?
About 70% of the Cameroonian population access Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other features everyday therefore it is very common for everyone to have a smartphone.
It’s almost a need and necessity for a record label to hire a certified/talented digital marketer to act as their PR. These marketers will optimize and manage their artists Facebook pages, Instagram accounts and twitter with a shared password. Agencies like Makonjoh Media are 100% perfect for such tasks.
We decided to look at the top most popular urban musicians in Cameroon that are followed on Social Media.
We considered three main social media platforms for this purpose – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We then summed up the followers on the three platforms to come up with the list.
So here are the top Cameroonian musicians as at January 2017

Note that we did a survey and question 20 people to list us their favorite artist in Cameroon before compiling this list. And we focused mostly on New School Urban artists in Cameroon ( No Petit Payee etc)
