MINAC: Paul Biya disburses 217,600,000 in favor of artists

Since last Friday, the new lists of beneficiaries of the grant are posted on the bulletin board of the Ministry of Arts and Culture. 
On 11 May, at one of its ordinary sessions, the Committee on Arts and Culture worked on the projects submitted to it. Of the four categories: Music, film and audiovisual, festival and other arts, as well as literature and dramatic arts.

In category I devoted to musical art, 151 beneficiaries will receive the sum of 121950000 FCFA, the biggest prize pool. They include Cameroonian veterans such as Charly Nelle, Toucouleur, Ze Bella, Rachel Tsoungui and Zele the Bomber. In the second category where the cinema and the audiovisual point, the 24 beneficiaries will distribute 39500000 FCFA. In the 3rd dedicated to festivals and other arts, 30 million FCFA will be distributed to 31 cultural promoters. To close the loop, it is the category literature and dramatic arts that closes the march, with a total of 26150000FCFA.
