Banky W intervenes in Wizkid, Davido & Tekno Feud

Banky W has intervened! Daddy has finally waded into the ongoing Drama between Tekno, Wizkid and Davido, He’s reminded the artistes that nothing beats working together.

Here’s what has been happening… Just in case you missed it;

Recall that Davido and Wizkid‘s beef have been going on for a while, after it was sparked by Davido’s brother, who called The Weeknd, the real star boy.

Well, after back and forth tirade over international and local celebrity status between the duo. It reached a semi-peak two days ago, when Davido dropped a new song ‘Summer Body’ with Olamide in which he dissed Wizkid.

“With our Yankee passport/Dem say we local/You better catch up/I go see you later,” Davido sang, referencing Wizkid’s previous shade where the Starboy branded him a local artist.

Wizkid didn’t holding back in his reply to the song lyrics, he took to Micro-blogging website, twitter to fire back.

“My people make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice,” said the Come Closer singer in one savage tweet that has gotten everyone talking.

Tekno dropped his opinion on the beef. In a series of Tweets he shared his opinion on the social media beefing between Nigerian superstars, Wizkid Balogun & Davido Adeleke, according to him ‘Na just Time, soon we go know who international pass ’.

Well, Wizkid in an initial shade replied him…

It reads;

Good morning! Ducks dont play where lions play!  Enjoy ur day my people!

When asked if the tweet was directed at Tekno, he confirmed it. See screenshot below…

Tekno responded.

He wrote; “Wow see how everybody is waiting for me to tweet! Too blown ”, “Lions are animals! and humans don’t fight… be your brothers keeper! RARA O #allloveonthisside.”, “I came here to grow my twitter page! Look what we’ve done! Followers fall on this account!”

Looks like Tekno is with Davido here!

He ended by saying

The whole drama between these 3 of course drew the attention of Banky W, Wizkid’s former boss, who quickly took to his Instagram to call out all the artistes involved in the drama, drawing inspiration from Jay Z’s campaign for black excellence.

“What’s better than one billionaire? Two,” he began, referencing Jay Z’s 4:44, adding, “What’s better than one of our Artists conquering the world? Two? Three? 10?? All?? Wish we would all just quit the mud slinging and get back to pushing the movement forward.”

He continued, “When you’re running a race, if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks, you’ll never reach your destination OR you’ll get there much later than you should.”

And then, he encouraged them to work together, because a “nobody wins when the family feuds.”
